Talkabout Walkabout Project (preparation)

"Group mbak kompak banget ya, sampai pergi nonton bareng segala??” begitu komentar Vivi yang saat itu pulang kuliah nebeng mobilku.
Aku tertawa. “Emang kamu nggak tau ?”
“Apaan ?” desak Vivi
“Group kita pilih WORLD CUP buat thema walkabout projectnya Mcom. Makanya kta besok mau pergi nonton bareng. “
Vivi yang berbeda group dengan aku cuman bilang “Oh pantes”

Walkabout is final project for Managerial Communication course. Its interesting concept!! We –as group-have to present special theme , and the important point in assessment is how we deliver , share and influence the audience about the topic. How we strategies to communicate with them. Well, its time to execute all the theory and improve our communication skill.

This detail project is too serious to tell here. I just want to share my experience to prepare this project.

Walau nggak ngerti Bola. Demi kesuksesan project dan komitmen terhadap kelompok. Aku ikut juga ke Front Row –Sport Grill Café di Senayan. Kami datang bukan buat diskusi, survey, atau riset. Kami datang untuk membaur dengan audience.Menonton perlawanan Serbia & Montenegro terhadap serangan Argentina bersama pengunjung café yang lain. Feel the atmospher. Usually our gathering purpose is all about case analysis assignment, office politic, how to manage the boss. Leadership type....Solve the Decision Analysis homework with regression, NPV, statistic, Forecasting, undirect cost, simulation, linier programming, etc. Or prepare presentation for Managerial Economic, discuss about supply, demand, cost differentiation, inflation.

All about the serious stuff. Nothing more.

This night is special. We hang out together!!. Before the match Argentina VS Serbia & Montenegro we have a great chit chat. Share laugh, joke and cigarette!! I just realize how friendly, funny, and crazy, my group mates are.

“ Yang Argentina yang mana ?” tanyaku innocent
Wafa menepuk jidatnya “ Aduh !! Basic banget pertanyaannya.. Mbak !!”
“ Coba Za , Explain!!” dia meminta Reza menjelaskan..Mereka menertawakan aku.

Bapak pesan apa ? tanya waiter.
“Bir “ kata Rizki yakin
Tapi begitu dia tau kami memesan juice, Rizki merevisi ordernya.
“Saya juice juga deh”.
Kami menertawakan Rizki.

Kami memesan empat juice. Tapi yang datang lima.
Lha, tadi yang dibayar kan cuma empat!
Denny menolak juice itu.”Saya belum order kok, mas.”
Reza mengoda Denny “ tumben lu jujur”
“wisss..gue kan selalu jujur” tangkis Denny.
Kami menertawakan Denny

Wafa terlalu semangat. Dia nonton sambil berdiri.
“Wafa, duduk dong!!” bisikku. Front Row penuh sesak, tidak ada tempat tersisa.aku takut kursi Wafa diambil orang.
“Ya Maklum Mbak Wafa biasa nonton sambil berdiri di teve kelurahan” Jo meledek Wafa.
Kami terbahak, menertawakan Wafa.

Well, kayaknya Walkabout project ini awal yang baik untuk kita berenam. Untuk saling mengenal lebih baik, lebih dekat. Demi sebuah group yang solid dan punya motivasi tinggi. Semua ini buat mendukung keberhasilan program kuliah magister kita, 2 tahun kedepan.

So Guys..keep up the Good Spirit !! Goooooll !!
